So it’s Alive. I got it up and running this morning. Have to fiddle with x as my parts are smaller then I am commanding. Not sure why.

The enclosure is a Corsair 4000d pc case.

Got my wiring pretty much done. Just need some connectors for getting out of the enclosure and have to set up the encoder but it’s working.

Have to make a tool post spacer and get the all set up and then it’s onto making parts.

Yes. I have to turn the ball screw down some to fit the stock bracket

I got around to machining the cross slide plate that locks the cross slide itself to the ball nut on the a axis.

Also got a chance to fire up the 3D printer for the encoder bracket so I’m gonna dive into that this weekend. All I have left to figure out wiring wise is limit switches.

So I have it figured out. This is the wiring schematic I drew up to make a LMS motor controller with the cnc chip set work with the acorn utilizing a kbsi-240d. Now onto stuffing all this stuff in an enclosure.

I got my Acorn bench tested yesterday afternoon and by 9pm last night I had the z axis moving. Super excited to have that part figured out and now time to start figuring out the spindle control.
