Did You get the forward and reverse all worked out? You said in previous post about board only having forward.

Yes if you look at the schematic I drew it shows AVI going to N/O of relay one and two and then F/R going to N/C of relay two. When relay one is called it grounds start/stop and relay two will still ground f/r. When relay two is called it will open grounding start/stop but ungrounding f/r causing it to spin in reverse.

I got around to machining the cross slide plate that locks the cross slide itself to the ball nut on the a axis.

Also got a chance to fire up the 3D printer for the encoder bracket so I’m gonna dive into that this weekend. All I have left to figure out wiring wise is limit switches.

All I have left mechanically is mounting the tool post. Getting close now.

Will you mount bearings on the other ends of the ballscrews?

Yes. I have to turn the ball screw down some to fit the stock bracket

KJ-1/110 was a good find.

Does not appear to be useable on my Harbor Freight lathe.

You did well "iLefty"

Got my wiring pretty much done. Just need some connectors for getting out of the enclosure and have to set up the encoder but it’s working.

Have to make a tool post spacer and get the all set up and then it’s onto making parts.

So it’s Alive. I got it up and running this morning. Have to fiddle with x as my parts are smaller then I am commanding. Not sure why.

Here’s a video link to my ig. Not sure how to upload video.
