Hello again.
Just finished my first paid program for my antique Bridgeport Series 1 CNC retrofit. When I program an X+ move I am used to the table moving left to right. On the CNC graphing program, it moves correctly. When I run it on the Centroid it runs opposite, right to left. Is this just an easy parameter change to correct? Thanks!

Re: X axis moving from right to left in the X+ direction
CNC directions are defined by the direction the spindle "moves". X+ is the spindle moving to the right. On a machine where the spindle is stationary and the table moves, then X+ would be when the table moves to the left causing the spindle to appear to move to the right.
It sounds like your machine is wired correctly.

Re: X axis moving from right to left in the X+ direction
So when I program let's say G1 X2. F10., and I am starting at X0, it should cut 2 inches toward the right edge of the part. But instead it is cutting 2 inches towards the left side like a mirror image.

Here's a thread with more detail on the correct machine tool axis directions.

Post a report file so we can see how your mill is configured. A video of what it is doing vs. what you expect it to do would help.
