License install issue <resolved>
I waited too long to install, but I’ve got my g0704 running happy finally. Went to install my Pro license, got a install okay message, but never changes from free to pro. What am I missing?

Re: License install issue
Hello jhelgesen,
This can be caused by the supplied license file becoming corrupt. This can happen for various reasons, saving the file using a Mac or Apple computer and sometimes loading it off of a USB drive are some common causes.
Would encourage you to try and download the file from the email again using maybe a different computer, browser, or email software. If you continue to have the issue, can send an email to diysales@centroidcnc.com with a brand new report (From main CNC 12 screen, Utility (F7) > Create Report (F7)), and can have a new license file generated for you to try as well.
Check out our How to install an Acorn CNC 12 License as well found here. https://centroidcncforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=61&t=3345

Re: License install issue
I tried a fresh copy and it worked. The previous I had copied to google drive.
Thanks so much.
Now if I could get the dxf import to work. Hit f6 then look and f8 is an empty space. Is there something else to turn on?

Does this help?
Cheers,

Re: License install issue
Great video on how it works, thanks.
Also shows me the F8 button that doesn't show up.
I'll post a report this afternoon.
Thanks, JH

Re: License install issue
My understanding is that DXF import works with Mill but not with Lathe.

Re: License install issue
That is correct. DXF Import is only supported by Mill and Router at this time.
