Hi
I have 2 mechanical switches working on my lathe and these work fine for home positions.
I have noticed while the lathe is in operation if you manually trip the switches or while in operation they do not stop the lathe.
How can I correct this?
Thanks
Mike Chung

Re: stop switches X and Y not working
Looking at your report. The switches are set as home switches, not limit switches.
They must be set as limit switches to stop motion....

Re: stop switches X and Y not working
You can leave those switches as is, and setup soft limits.

Re: stop switches X and Y not working
As an alternative to changing your existing soft limits and assuming you have separate inputs for the Z and X switches, you could use HomeLimit for 1st and 2nd axes.
Hope this helps

Re: stop switches X and Y not working
Can one switch be both designated as home and limits? I have a similar post about my switch situation and how I tried to solve. My problem is that the wizard undoes my fix. See my post on "Home all Limit all".

Re: stop switches X and Y not working
yes, the selection is in the wizard to define an input as both axis 1 home and limit.
