Control Box advice
I"m just wrapping up my first Acorn build and I thought Id post pictures of my control box layout. Do you think I should flip the relay board so the screw terminals are not coming out and running next to my AC incoming power?

Re: Control Box advice
I'm not sure that's as much of an issue as the backplane itself, it that plastic?
Edit, I see your other post and see that it is plastic. This is not best practice for control cabinets but it looks like it's too late anyway.

Re: Control Box advice
What are the disadvantages of plastic? Static?

Re: Control Box advice
It is a grounding thing. A metal plane lets you have nice low impedance ground connection as close as possible to the devices. Among other things, this can help control noise.
