New Major Features

Mill: Implemented Tool Life Management library, accessible via Main Screen->F1->F2->F3.
Lathe: Tool Touch-off (TT-2) support, keylocked under "Automatic Tool Measure" option.
Added Surface Following digitizing option
ACDC drive support.

There are also some minor changes/fixes.

I just upgraded from CNC11 V3.08 to Software Update CNC11 V3.10
Now when the mill homes out it does not look for the Index pulse, and I get the warning that the encoder count is off. Every time that I home, I get a different encoder count.

I re-installed V3.08 and the mill homes to the index pulse again.

I would like to upgrade to the new software to fix some errors; such as, seeing all the tools used when viewing the program in the graph.

Anthony,

When you are installing v3.10, do NOT install a PLC program when asked. That will prevent changes being made to any of your existing configuration files.

Scott,

I did not install a new plc, only the CNC11 software, I was very careful about this.

Any other ideas?

Anthony,

Please take a report and send the report.zip to tech@ajaxcnc.com

v3.10 was released in late April and nobody else has reported anything like this.

Tried using a fast stage but a PD tied to an input does not work. Looks like what is happening, if the switch is made, the PD will toggle on and off every time the stage is scanned and my counter increments up even though the switch is not making and breaking. If the switch for the carrousel counter is not made, the counter does not increment when the stage is on. I did use a timer to get the carrousel moving off the switch and set the timer each time the switch makes to mask the input and did get an accurate count. Is there other any way to get around this problem. When declaring a fast stage, is there a clash with using FSTG1 and already having a STG1 or should I use an unused stage number for the fast stage ?
