Have you tried another drive?Kutton wrote: ↑Thu Jan 31, 2019 10:45 pmThe drive has a green status light but not lit.Gary Campbell wrote: ↑Thu Jan 31, 2019 9:01 pm A point of clarification: You say: "No green light"
Does this mean there are no status LED's on the drive, or that ones that are there are not lit?
What does the voltage read at the drive? At the power supply?
Any chance the polarity is reversed?

Re: No motor movement
I thought we were working on x axis, but I try all axis when I try x. All motors are locked when acorn is activated.Gary Campbell wrote: ↑Thu Jan 31, 2019 11:32 pmHave you tried another drive?Kutton wrote: ↑Thu Jan 31, 2019 10:45 pmThe drive has a green status light but not lit.Gary Campbell wrote: ↑Thu Jan 31, 2019 9:01 pm A point of clarification: You say: "No green light"

I made share that the controller was connected to computer by pinging controller address.
Would you know anyone who could give me a wiring diagram from motor drivers to board?

Re: No motor movement
Here is a schematic to try.
I will tell you,
I would start from square one with a Benchtest (NOT IN THE MACHINE)
Fresh install of CNC12 and Acorn BENCHTEST first. Make sure the CNC PC and Acorn are communicating
I would then take ONE stepper driver, One stepper motor, the stepper motor power supply and wire them up to a DB25 breakout board connected to Acorn. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE GONE INTO PARAMETERS and reduced your step rate! If you make a change in Wizard, and save the changes, you HAVE to go back in and change the step rate again. Because the Wizard will overwrite it.
Post pictures of each step. Post a new report.

Re: No motor movement
Wiring diagram was the reason I now have motor movement. Thanks Marty. Question I have two steppers running my Y axis. Do I need pro license to get them to move correctly.martyscncgarage wrote: ↑Fri Feb 01, 2019 9:26 am Here is a schematic to try.

IF so, get X Y Z and SLAVE (Axis 4) all set up the same.
See if they all turn
Yes, for Axis pairing you need to buy the PRO license.

Re: No motor movement
Generate a report, it will have the serial number in the report.

Re: No motor movement
Not sure I understand your question. Are you asking how to get the report and get the serial number? Or are you asking how to uninstall the CNC12 software from your PC?
