Clear acrylic cover for the Acorn pc board now Shipping

art will be finalized this week. after than it will take about 3 weeks to cut 1000 covers and silk screen them.

ok. we have the new Acorn clear acrylic covers in stock.
starting last week all Acorn Kits began shipping with the new cover and the hardware to mount it.
the silk screen company made us 1000 of them in black ink which was supposed to be white, ugh. While black ink is not ideal (i like the white letters better as it is easier to read) we will be using these covers.
For those that have an Acorn now and wish to have a cover, the new covers will be for sale on the new ecommerce website shortly. (i'll post a link as soon as the web page is live)
they will be shipping via USPS first class mail in a bubble envelope to keep shipping as cheap as possible.

and in related cover news.
both AcornSix and Hickory kits are now shipping with Acrylic covers as well.

Is there a DXF file available for the Acorn cover so we can just cut a blank if we need no printing to retrofit older installs? Of course I could draw one but just wanted to ask.
