Problem with keyboard shortcuts <Xbox>

Post by Flash »

So I've been following the steps to set up the xbox controller. I've turned on the usb by pushing ALT-J and some of the keyboard controllers do work... but when I push the page up or page down it turns on the incremental/jog button. Ive looked in the forum already and saw a different post about making sure the windows 10 keyboard is set to US English....it is!

Not sure what I'm doing wrong here. Any help is appreciated

What a joke, if you don't want to help me just say so! This video is all over the internet and I've seen it 20 times already. Never once does it explain how he set anything up, problems you may find while setting things up, any installation tips whatsoever. It literally says in the PDF that video is a demonstration video!! You guys seriously need to get better at your help videos!

I don't have a xbox controller on my test bench to test with. Was hoping some xbox users out there would chime in if they have seen the issue you are having.

Using the Xbox controller is not a popular way to jog a machine tool. Rick did that a while back. I don't know of many users using the Xbox controller for jogging, any one out there want to chime in on it?

Is the keyboard jog panel displayed when you are pushing pg-up and pg-down?
Cheers,

I have CDO. It's like OCD, but the letters are where they should be.

I see you have probe trip set to input 7. Try dragging that out of the input definition in the wizard and press right settings to CNC control.

Also you are using limit all is that intentional or did you mean to use home all?

hello. i was able to recreate the "select an axis" issue with the page up down button.
fix is simple.

go to the Wizard and select "none" under the Input Device setup and press write settings to cnc control and follow the instructions.
