If you select the "single block" mode and then run the macro again it'll show you in the first line the macro number it's running. Then just escape out or cycle cancel. Mine is custom so I don't know the macro number off the top of my head.

I've never seen a macro for the oem file. I think it's probably in the plc. There are several available and I have some as well. I'm working on getting mine to auto update the library and it's almost ready to share.

My bad, he asked about the function used on "the tool offset screen" not the VCP. That's a screen I don't even use, sorry.

I think but I'm not sure.
It is called "probe_move_to_surface"

I'm mainly interested in how they set the tool offset and z-ref, I'll look though the cncm folder to see if I can find the probe_move_to_surface file for some hints.

There are several ways to set the Z reference and it depends on the machine, how you home it, how accurate it is or if you just use a reference tool. Keith did a video many. many years ago on this subject using the tool offset library and typical setup for a router. I dont know if it'll be helpful or not as I dont know what kind of machine you are working with but it may have some good info in it for you.
