Screw compensation working in reverse

Hi,

My screw compensation procedure for X worked well.
For Y on a slaved gantry machine, it does the opposite, doubles the error. I then flipped polarity of all compensations, how come it provides an opposite correction?

Is the screw comp Y/N selector supposed to be enabled for both Y and Ysl, or just Y?

Thanks,

Upon further investigation, screw comp on Y is only affecting one of the channels even if both are selected, for Y.

I set screw comp to a figure of 11mm instead of 25, it travels the 'extra corrected' distance on the Y-sl only. Earlier in the evening it was travelling in the Y non-sl only, anyhow. How can I get it to accept one screw comp for both Y motors?

hardware pair the motors or make both motor rotate the same, right now one is rotating the opposite of the other

Ok,
So I will reverse one within the Clearpath control side, then set Centroid side to both same way.
This is easy enough. I'll give it a try.
Thanks
