MPG Client: Error! <resolved>

I'm getting this error message when starting up CNC12. Wireless MPG does not work, and its screen is blank with the exception of the battery status and wireless signal strength symbols. Everything was working correctly when I last used my machine a few weeks ago.

I've tried the following with no success:
- restarted CNC12
- restarted PC running CNC12
- replaced batteries in the Wireless MPG
- updated CNC12 to the latest version (Ver 5.04)
- unplugged wireless receiver and re-plugged it back in

Anybody else experience this issue or have any ideas?

most likely the USB port on the PC is not cooperating. try another USB port,
and don't use adapters/extension cables etc. (at first)

is this a laptop?

Thanks for the response Keith. I tried unplugging and re-plugging and things started working again. Still using the same USB port, and no I'm not using a laptop.
