Endurance Laser

Hi y'all,
I know this should be very easy but I am having more difficulty than I should have. I purchased an Endurance Laser and I comes with a driver board and the laser. The laser box is hard wired to the driver box. There is only the 2 wires for the PWM hookup and the 12 vdc power supply hookup. I have attached the PWM + to pin #14 (output 2) on the 25 pin breakout board and the 12 vdc power supply . On the driver box is a controller mode switch and a high power switch. When I turn it on I am able to get the high power through the switch but when I put it into controller mode I am unable to change the % power as requested on the g-code.
I have gone over the PWM hookup bulletin more times than I can count but to no avail.
Any help would be appreciated....

Where is the common?
The PWM needs a Common to be connected to the DB25 COM terminal (18-25)
Also make sure the PWM frequency is set correctly in the wizard for the laser driver

Post a manual for your laser driver please.....

post a fresh report.zip so we can see your settings.

I have attached a recent report for you. As far as the common it goes to my common bar.

There is no manual. All info in online mostly in videos.

https://endurancelasers.com/diode-laser ... aser-plus/

On a side note, I am trying to run a program with the spindle in use and it won't start now??

Please post a link to the laser documentation. I see a lot of sales/promotional literature on that link you provided
You need a common from the laser driver to the DB25 Common terminal....

Also, I don't see anywhere that it accepts PWM control. You'd better contact those folks and ask

Marty,
The 2 wires that come from the driver box have PWM labelled on them?
I have been running the diagnostics and enabled outputs but I am not getting any lights on my relay board? Could I have fried it??

From the diagnostic screen ctrl alt f manually enables an output. You must press that combination there is no line under the virtual LED. Otherwise it is manually disabled.

Check power supply voltages.

What frequency does the Laser driver operate at? All I know is follow the laser wiring schematic and it works. I have a NEJE20 on my router.

I did enable the diagnostic outputs by the means you described to get a green light with the line underneath and I am getting no lights on the relay board. I have had the Acorn for 3 years now.
I got the spindle to work by turning it on at the VFD and it will turn itself off via the g-code. The speed control is also working via the g-code. I do have a KSI-240D board to isolate the speed control to the VFD.
I also have a spindle cooling rad on the output and I am unable to get the fans on it to run via activating the ouput through the diagnostics.
I will check my power supply otherwise I think my relay board is toast.

Green light with a line underneath it means you have forced the output on. The control will not turn it off in that state. As Marty mentioned you need to press CTRL-ALT-F until NO LINE is visible.

Outputs have 3 states. Forced ON (green with line), forced off (red with line) and computer controlled (no line, can be red or green depending on the current computer state).
