Correct me if I'm wrong Walter but if you are already generating g code with Aspire then you are using the Centroid PP already, no? And you mention version 4.0, was that a typo? They are on version 10.5 with all versions if I'm not mistaken. I have Cut2D and Vcarve Pro and both are 10.5. Are you saying there's no Centroid PP in the list that comes with your Vectric software? If not it'll be hard to know if the current Centroid PP for the newest software will even work with your software if it's is in fact 4.0 and that old. Have you contacted Vectric?

A few more details would be helpful.

I'm using Aspire v10.5 and although I have slightly modified the CentroidArcs PP to suit my own requirements, the original was apparently dated 2007. It therefore goes back many iterations.

Perhaps Gary C can comment further

Although many modify them, I dont think there are any issues with the Vectric included "Centroid" post processor

Same here, I am using VCarve Pro 10.5 and the stock PP is 2007. Mine is also very modified to suit me and my machine. Here's a copy of the stock Centroid PP for VCarve Pro, see if it works for you. Maybe Nigelo can post his stock PP from Aspire for comparison.

Just rename the file by removing the .txt at the end so the file name is Centroid_Arcs_inch.pp and move it to your PP folder.

I've been using Aspire from before it was called Aspire (1st beta tests were called Phoenix). A PP from a newer version could possibly have some newer code blocks that won't work in Aspire 4, but you can try it and see if it throws an error. Otherwise, it's relatively easy to edit a PP and you could use one of the basic G-Code variants that are in Aspire 4 (Fanuc, GCode, GRBL etc.).

Here are the current stock PP's for Centroid.

Just checked on my shop design PC and found that I have a data folder left over from Aspire v4.5 and the PP's within are the same as the stock ones posted here previously. You should be good to go.
