Show me your Custom VCP's! this is a call for screen shots and reports.zip files from your Acorn CNC systems with Custom VCP's!
Goals:
1.) show everyone what cool things are possible with the VCP
2.) I need report.zip files from custom VCP's systems to test with for the new upcoming Acorn CNC12 release
The Centroid VCP, or Virtual Control Panel, is a user-friendly, touchscreen interface that comes with Centroid's CNC12 software, designed to help you control your DIY CNC machine, like a mill, lathe, or router, without needing extra hardware. It puts all the essential machine controls—like jogging the axes, starting or stopping the spindle, and adjusting feed rates—right at your fingertips on a digital display, making it easy to operate your machine even if you're new to CNC. You can customize it to fit your specific setup, and it’s included for free with the software, so it’s a budget-friendly way to get started with precise control over your projects.
Centroid VCP (Virtual Control Panel) highly customizable to match your specific machine tool application—whether it’s a mill, lathe, router, or something else. You can tweak the layout, buttons, and functions displayed on the touchscreen interface to focus on the controls you use most, like spindle speed or axis movement, and hide what you don’t need. The CNC12 software lets you adjust settings to align with your machine’s unique setup, such as adding custom macros for repetitive tasks or configuring it for specific tools and operations. This flexibility means you can tailor the VCP to simplify your workflow and make it feel intuitive, no matter what kind of CNC project you’re tackling.
