BIOS password (Resolved)
I was attempting to upgrade one of my CNC10 units to MPU11 today. It would not allow recognize the new SSD I used to replace the CFD it orignally came with. When I attempted to trouble shoot the problem by editing the BIOS it would not let me in as it needed a password. Is there a standard password that Ajax or Centroid uses? Was this a one time anomally, I have one more to do. I should mention that I've already done one upgrade and didn't run into the problem. I got past it today by clearing the CMOS but I'd like to avoid that if at all possible.

This is YOUR PC I assume? Centroid won't be able to help if they did not supply the computer.
Please provide more information about the control, post a report or the serial number on the back of the Operator console or the cabinet.
Typically if there was a password on the Bios (TERRIBLE IDEA) I try removing the battery from the motherboard for 30 minutes or so and then reinstalling it (might be a good time to replace with a new one). Generally that will reset the BIOS to defaults. Its usually a CR2032. Looks about the size of nickel-ish

Re: BIOS password
Centroid did provide the PC. They responded already this am with the password.
I hope that installing the new SSD hard drive with Widndows 8.1 and the OAK, ALLin1DC and MPU11 will suffice and that I have no other configs to do.
Thanks, Gerard

I had an existing 3 axis CNC machine retrofit and upgrade in 2015, the hard drive on CPU crashed.
