
So now I have started to upgrade to 6 axis for tool grinding, like 4 facet grinds of drill bits

First test with 5 axis was not as easy to use as I want it to be
If the drill is not on center with A axis you will need different z height for each side and different starting points for X and Y.
That is not as easy peasy as I want it to be. The program schould run with just setting the start point.
So I decided to add a 6th axis for turning the drill bit 180 deg.
This will also open the door to sharpen end mills, making step drills, ect...
And the cool thing is, it can be all done without CAM if you use all potential of Centroids G-Code to make easy to use parametric programs
