Cncsnw,
You are correct. I would like to set Z zero with the probe and Z ref to zero at the same time. Or be able to type in a value for Z ref.
Sorry I hijacked the thread with something that's not related to intercon.

Not an intercon request.

Re: Intercon feature requests.
Could we have the feature where theres an option to keep the spindle at 100% when switching from auto to manual please? Maybe in the wizard?

Re: Intercon feature requests.
I'm running Acorn6 and using all 6 axes (X, Y Z and the knee is W, plus rotary A and B) but in Intercon the rapid and linear moves only have options for X, Y, Z and A. To position the W and B axes I have to manually edit the G code after posting it. Can we have all axes that are configured in the wizard available for moves in Intercon?

Re: Intercon feature requests.
Intercon feature request: multiple depth passes, optional finish depth pass, and optional finish pass (X,Y) on profiles and external frames.

Re: Intercon feature requests.
yeah, we can add these in a more accessible way.
for mill contours use "depth repeat" (in the sub menu) to create multiple depth passes to depth and make the step down so there is the finish pass amount you want left for the last pass.
for a XY contour finish pass, copy paste the contour and do a "not actual tool change" to get to a smaller/larger diameter tool (inside or outside) for the finish pass you want. its a bit fiddly but once you get used to doing it, its all good.
