Item to note when installing and opening CNC12 RC5 initially, with the Windows Task Bar Pinned at the bottom of the window( not hidden ), the CNC12 window did not size correctly, sized to full screen height with task bar partially covering the bottom of the window F keys. Restarting CNC12 did not correct the issue and Required PC restart for CNC12 to resize correctly.I did not take a screen shot.
Initialize ATC F6 (F5->, F8, F6) button not showing in Tool Library screen., may need to update Wizard text

the Init button is probably not there since cnc12 hasn't been configured for ATC, that being said a word smith review for this is order. thanks.
and for the first issue, is that repeatable or is that a one time thing?

The first item was repeatable after initial install until I restarted the computer. Not repeatable after computer restart. Previous RC4 worked fine and resized properly with the task bar pinned at the bottom of the screen.
CNC12RC5 was configured for ATC, ATC was working last night after the fresh install w/o initializing it.
I'll check it again this evening.

Powered up machine and checked ATC operation. ATC Rack operation works as intended.
Still no F6 ATC Initialize button
Noticed that the soft keys on the tool database disappear when using the mouse scroll wheel , will reappear if you click on the screen or touch a keyboard button. Repeatable. Does not occur using keyboard arrow keys ( up/down ) when scrolling.
CHIPS is installed and machine parameters are configured per section 5.8.1
I will try a fresh install with the latest 5.24 released tomorrow evening.

Did F6/ATC Init get moved to the Tool Library at some point?
In most/all previous versions, it was on the Configuration menu (F1/Setup -> F3/Config).
The F2/ATC Reset key would appear on the Tool Library screen, but only if Parameter 164 is set to request it. That is only used with "umbrella" style changers.

Yup, ATC initialize is now in the Tool Library screen.
F5 - F8 - F6

ATC Init button is not require rack type tool changer
rack tool changers are initialized with M18

Carousel choice uses the F6 ATC Init button in the Tool Library.
Rack mount uses M18 to initialize, therefore no F6 ATC Init button
