You can measure dc volts on the direction pins, ~5 volts vs ~ a few tenths of a volt for pos vs neg movement, unless inverted. But, you will need a scope to verify step signal

First picture if from Delta america
second one if from you for A2 model .
I'm still not able making the motor run with cnc12 .
what to do .
Give me a way to go , I'm very desperete it been 4 weeks.
you are the expert ?
thx

i see peopel giving you tips and suggestions but you are not following up.
That makes it very difficult to help you... Generally if servos don't work it is either IO being set up wrong / connected wrong.
In asdasoft status monitor you can see if you get any pulses in, and what the status is
Image

There is a built in wizard where you can also set the parameters for basic movement:

In the IO page you can see the current status of the IO pins.

In asdasoft you can actually see what each value means:
Image

I don't really see any issues with the parameters that centroid puts here : https://www.centroidcnc.com/dealersuppo ... ds/303.pdf
Image

You can even hook up something like this (disconnect centroid) to take that whole part out of the equation:
https://www.automationtechnologiesinc.c ... -generator
If you can make it move without centroid, you can make it move with centroid. (when you do this make sure the motor is not connected to the machine)

Also check in the asdasoft IO page if the IO are in the correct state:
- DIO1 - Drive Enable
- DIO5 - Reset Servo Drive

DO NOT FORGET (newbies in action )!!!
that is pic for asda , is there something rongh.
mayby is the cnc12 configuration that is badly setup by me ?
What is the basic setup for servo in cnc12 .
Thanks

I just send information at Delta america about the setup you told me to input into the drive delta and that is what he send me back .

This is the best information you could have sent.

DI1 assignment: P2-10 = 0101 (Servo ON) Closing the contact will enable the servo drive if there is no Alarm.

DI5 assignment P2-14 = 0102 (Alarm Reset) Closing the contact will clear an alarm.

DO5 assignment: P2-22 = 0007 (When this output is “ON” (CLOSED/Conducting) there is no Alarm. When it goes OFF (OPEN)there is an alarm.

From the B2-B wiring example in the manual shows the correct for an NPN STEP+DIRECTION (PULSE + SIGN) command.

Pulse type, Logic ana filters P1-00:

Note that Servo must be OFF or “disabled” to change P1-00.

Set to pulse type to “PULSE+ SYMBOL:

P1-00 = 0002

You may have to change the logic type if you miss one count:

P1-00 = 0102

Mode and direction the motor turns P1-01:

Power cycle is required after changing this parameterP1-01.

Setting to “PT” mode (PT = Pulse Train)

P1-01= 0000

Be careful of Direction the motor is command. You said it was a gantry, I don’t see the connection to the other drive.

If one moto of the gantry has to go in the opposite direction , then one of the two gantry servo drives needs the “Direction “ to be reversed:

P1-01= 0100

Now pulse counts per revolution: P1-44/P1-45:

These parameters require a power cycle.

P1-44 = 160000 (best setting what the B2 drive send out to the command the motor 1 revolution)

P1-45 = ????? (how many pulses that come in on Pin 41 for 1 revolution) This number I do not know what it is you need.

Example: If you make P!-45 = 2048, then 2048 pulses (or steps) in will turn the motor one revolution.

centroid tech
With that new information can you update the information to input into the ASDB2-E1315 Delta drive .
Because there are some issus to modified.
please , thanks

whatever you set it to; it needs to match that you input in the centroid wizard/config:

Hi @usinart. Did you happen to find a solution. I am in the same boat as you.

Motors are known good as I am replacing a DDCS controller. Can jog in the ASDASOFT sowftware.
All servo parameters have been reset to default and then set to Centroid's recommended parameters.
Centroid Wizard has been set up with ADA drives.
CNC12 communicates with Acorn board, heart beat is OK.
But... No movement.
