Wired up the resistors and axis would move at all. Looked at the manual a little closer and it only calls for added resistors when the voltage is above 12v. So if I'm reading this correctly, it doesn't apply to the Acorn setup and I was wired according to the manual from the start.

Going to give the DB25 connector a try when it comes in tomorrow. After that I'm pretty much out of ideas.

I can't find one and would suspect you should follow the diagram in your Leadshine manual. We try to post schematics that work with various models but, when in doubt, always make sure your drive is wired per the drive mfg. spec.

BTW Not having those resistors as depicted in the Leadshine manual would definitely make the drive more susceptible to missing pulses/steps.

Tried the DB25 route. No luck, exact same behavior. Looks like it is probably time to throw in the towel.

As a test
Can you drop your Z axis max feed rate to 75 and max jog rate to 75 and rerun the part. See if it's accurately cut.
Yes, I know Z will be slow but is a test.

Acorn is not your problem....

Let us know if you give it a try and what the result is

Thanks for the continued assistance. I just started the test run with those parameters.

Thanks!
