This is how I did it;
In step 2 I set X axis to invert
Then shut down wizard
Closed cnc12
Restart CNC
Take voltage measurement

I think my reply got lost
Step 2
I inverted X axis
Shut down wizard and cnc12
Restart cnc12
Then take voltage readings
Left inverted. Tried axis drive with/without ENA plugged in ( just incase something happened), no change.

Step 2
The ENA was not inverted to start with.
So used wizard to invert and save changes
Then voltage was read.
If this is incorrect , Send me instructions of exactly what you want and I’ll re check these readings
Thanks

I should also add the drive must be connected and powered. we are looking for the acorns ability to short the enable wire from the stepper drive to ground.
are the other enable lights changing state while you're performing this test?
Try just measuring between EN1 and GND while cycling the enable by using the estop and cycle start.
Now measure between EN2 and GND while doing the same. Are you seeing the same or different results>

Machine powered and at HOME
ENA is unplugged
EN1 to ground is 78.9 led grn
EN2 23.59. Red
Estop tripped
En1. 89.2 grn. Voltage very slowly decays
En2. 23.65 red
ENA PLUGGED IN
En1 is 88.5 grn
En2 is 23.65 red
Estop tripped and reset
Reading are same

What is the parameter number and what should it be set at for this ENA to function correctly? Is that an area to check?
Seems like nothing else has pointed to the cause.

i don't think you have a parameter problem.

@joedexter Please follow the directions on the following page to do a swapout on your acorn. There is something broken on it.
