The issue with the current built in dust collection output and the flood output is it turns the output off and on quite a lot.. every time cycle start is pushed in my experience when I used it some 18 months ago. I switched to the M6x/M8x in my post so it turns on at the beginning of the program and turns off at completion. I use the MDI if I want to manually control. Works well. I agree, I'm looking forward to being able to tie an output to one of the buttons on the VCP/MPG.

I did the same thing with my spindle coolant pump. It used to come on and off a lot thought the code but I edited the PP to have it come on after it measures the first tool off set at my fixed tool touch off plate and shut off at the end of the program. I leave it on during tool changes to keep cooling the spindle. Very easy and it works great. I have my dust collection on a simple switch as I use the vac even after the system is off to clean up.
