no problem i have done that, just make a loop and strain relive it so you can open and close the door.
i've also crammed an e1616 on the cabinet side.

Since you have powered components mounted to the door, you should install a bonding (grounding) jumper wire from the main cabinet or panel to the door. In the trade, we don't trust the hinge pins to provide a safe path to ground.

Linear Rail Question:
These ATC plans call for SBR16-350 rails and SBR16 slide blocks. Is SBR a brand? I could only find these on Amazon and Aliexpress. I want to make sure these are good enough slides or if should be looking at something else? I have no experience with linear slides.
Thanks Uwe. Here is a video where someone used HGH15/HGR15 assembly.
At the four-minute mark he points out a problem with getting lubrication to both units. Not sure I am crazy about his solution. Let me know what you think.
Also, here is what I am working on for a sensor. It is based on the ideas that Marc from CNCSNW suggested. Marc suggested that the sensor trigger when the carousel is locked.
