Limit Switch Override
I was bench testing my Acorn setup last night with Homing and Limit switches attached. I simulated the homing routine and next simulated hitting a limit switch and left it so Acorn showed it was on a limit switch. What I'm having trouble understanding is how to get it off of the limit switch. I don't see a 'Limit Switch Override' button on the VCP. Is a additional switch needed to short out that input to remove the error so it can be moved off of the limit switch?

Re: Limit Switch Override
Please post photos of your bench test wiring and screen shots of the wizard setups. there are about 100 ways to setup home and limit switches and to give you correct advice we need more info on your setup.

Re: Limit Switch Override
Ok, I can do that but I don't show the Limit Switch Defeat button on my VCP. That's what's I'm looking for. All other software I have used always a button like that on the screen. Is there something needed to be setup in the Wizard for that button to appear?

Re: Limit Switch Override
if you don't have any limit switches set up then the limit overide button doesn't appear on the VCP.
setup limits in the wizard.
