M297 and M298 (503 Invalid M function)

Post by Ryan Patterson »

When trying to use M297 I get a 503 Invalid M function. I need to disable the soft limits.

Hi Ryan,

Please post a report. Here's how:

What version of CNC12 are you running?

If I remember correctly M297/M298 were added in v5.24, so if you are on an older version then the 503 error makes sense.

Jacob is correct, M297 and M298 were added in CNC12 v5.24
CNC12 v5.30 is available here: https://www.centroidcnc.com/centroid_di ... loads.html
As well as upgrade and installation instruction, which I'd highly recommend following:
