The software features that use Parameters 116 and 117 will work with any type of machine, but they are mostly used on bed mills.
On a knee mill, you will have to find and set new values every time you move the knee or the ram.
Parameter 116 is the Y axis value on the machine-coordinates DRO (Alt-D) when the spindle centerline is lined up over the rotary axis centerline. You have to find a new value for it every time you move the ram.
Parameter 117 is the Z axis value on the machine-coordinates DRO when the tip of your reference tool has been moved down to the rotary axis centerline. You have to find a new value for it every time you move the knee.

Thanks,
Do you think my speeds you found will lead to troubles later? Other than just Jobs running slower?
Warm Regards, Mike

I recommend setting the Y and Z DeltaVmax values back up to 3.0 in/min (same as X) so that you can cut G2 and G3 arcs.
