I am setting up and OAK board with Yaskawa SGDA-04AS drives and I have hit a roadblock with the error "412 MPG1 Encoder error" "412 encoder differential error". Can someone clarify the meaning of these faults? I have searched but haven't found much info on it, at least info that narrows down my issue. I currently have just one Servo connected to the Oak while trying to diagnose this issue but the same fault occurs with the other two servos. I have good encoder readings on the PID screen and the positive encoder counts matches the correct rotation direction of the motor.
I have attached a report, image of the error screen and the connection between the SGDA drive and OAK. Any tip on where to start here?
(Note the report is from July, but nothing has changed since then, project was on the back burner.

If you set parameter 348 to 0 the MPG encoder error will go away.
You also have drive faults and quadrature encoder errors for the Y axis.
So you need to make sure the drive is not really in a fault.
Then check your cabling.
Is the drive set to output Quadrature encoder signals to the control. The previous control may have used another encoder type signal.

Some (maybe all) SGDA drives lack independent logic power terminals. Drive logic and motor power use the same AC input.
As a result, when your emergency stop circuit interrupts line power, then the encoder signal and drive-okay signals go away as well.
If your drives are like that, then your only choices as far as I know are:
1) Buy different drives (equivalent SGDB drives might still work with your existing motors)
2) Set parameters 332-335 to ignore encoder errors, and accept the lack of error detection the rest of the time
3) Refrain from interrupting drive line power with emergency stop, and accept the lack of a safe or reliable inhibit.

That is true of these drives, I'm operating with option #3 right now and relying on the drive enable to stop the drive in the e-stop state. Not ideal I know.
