hi
i'm converting a cnc mill (optimum bf46). i have a ajax mill kit with console - cnc10.
i tried to home for the first time but i get a 'lubricant low' error message so the machine stops. i have a hand pump for the lubricant - so nothing is connected to the lubricant in- and outputs. are there any jumpers i can switch so this function is disabled, or do i have to change something in the setup?
thanx in advance
david

Re: lubricant low error message
Either locate the "low-lube" PLC input on your wiring diagram and put a jumper on it, or change Machine Parmeter 178 to 1.0 (or add 1.0 to whatever value is already in Parameter 178. See the manual.

Re: lubricant low error message
thank you. didn't work with just setting 178 to '1'. did it for 170-179 and now it works. great to see the machine finally moving - now i have to setup the home switches

Re: lubricant low error message
Hello,
You need to cycle Estop to clear the fault once it occurs.
I'm sure what Marc suggested worked. Setting Parameters 170 to "1" only enables keyboard jogging. Other than 178, the rest have no effect.

Re: lubricant low error message
well if i only set 178 to 1 then i have to push emergency stop every time to make the lube low message go away. by setting 171 to 178 to 1 it stops the 'lubricant low' error message error message.

Re: lubricant low error message
Most CPU10 PLC programs use Parameter 177 as a "fault override".
So yes, setting every parameter from 171 through 178 to 1.0 will make the "lubricant low" message go away. It will make lots of other error messages go away too. Some of those error messages may be things you would like to see.
Put a jumper on INP18 and set all those parameters back to 0.0.
