Re: DM860H driver questions
I assume you wired those drives to the DB25 as they are 5v drives. From your link the drives don't appear to have an alarm output so you wont need a "drive ok" input on Acorn. Spindle OK is a input on Acorn that uses the fault signal from your VFD. There's a diagram for wiring a generic VFD to Acorn.

Re: DM860H driver questions
Yes straight into the db25, so I can just use the fault from the relay as per this post? https://centroidcncforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=60&t=8854ShawnM wrote: ↑Sat Jun 17, 2023 11:00 am I assume you wired those drives to the DB25 as they are 5v drives. Re: DM860H driver questions
Those are open loop drives, so there is no alarm circuit available. Also, leave the enable disconnected.

Re: DM860H driver questions
Each VFD is different and you haven't told us what VFD you have or shared a link to the manual. We need a lot more info to be able to help you.

Re: DM860H driver questions
Didn't we go over this already in your other post? It's confusing when you start more than one topic with the same questions.

Re: DM860H driver questions
curious i have similar drivers why do we leave the enable disconnected?Gary Campbell wrote: ↑Sat Jun 17, 2023 3:07 pm Those are open loop drives, so there is no alarm circuit available. Also, leave the enable disconnected.

Re: DM860H driver questions
They are enabled by default. If the motor locks when you power up the drive it's enabled.garybergin288 wrote: ↑Sat Jul 01, 2023 4:04 pm curious i have similar drivers why do we leave the enable disconnected?
