MPG change battery issue

Post by justcrankinit »

I recently had to replace the batteries in my working wireless MPG. Now all I get is a message saying to change battery (Even after trying multiple fresh batteries).

UPDATE: while the wireless MPG actually connects and works as intended, the screen is stuck on “Chang battery”.

Mine did this right before the MPG rotary encoder stopped working.

@slodat did centroid replace it? Mines not even a year old and it’s hardly been used.

Mine is a couple years old and out of warranty. I have multiple Acorn machines, so I'm using the wireless MPG off my lathe for now. I was really bummed when the encoder stopped working. I'd rather pay twice as much and not have it fail after a few years of VERY light use, Never dropped, etc.
