Yet more problems < com errors, fix those first>

Ok, today I got around to connecting acorn to the milling machine, and ran into some issues which I don’t know how to fix. I am using leadshine type motors and stepper drivers in open loop. For some reason I only have movement on one motor. I have green led,s on all stepper drivers. I have checked that I have wired them all correctly. I have checked that the motor poles are paired correctly and that there is continuity between the drivers and the motors. If I swap the motor stepper driver terminal block from one to another only the one I swapped works, so if I pull the x axis working block from the stepper driver and swap it with the z axis, then the z axis works but not the x axis. Is there anything in the software that could course this, if so what do I need to check. I am using the extension for the acorn board. Thanks

You have tons of com errors in your error log and you have to fix these before you can go any further. It can also cause no motor movement as the PC and Acorn are not communicating properly.

These com errors have to be resolved before proceeding, please take the time to follow the details in TB270 and review TB309.

In the upper left of this link type in the tech bulletin number and read them. They will help fix your com errors.
