I have the Z-Finder from Sorotec, the 3D Finder is better than probes for < 200 bucks, but I have only tested this one from a friend

It is not featuring an angular adjustment, but a good radial adjustment.

Kind of soft spring, maybe not so good for longer stylus.

Not tested long enough to find out if it keeps the center a long time.

I would not change it with KP3 unless the lower length is needed.

I have that probe but was thinking of buying a KP-3. I will hold off and put the money to use buying wine!

If a tool is ok for your jobs, do not change it ;)

IMHO the only logical reason for other tools is if they give you an advantage in cost, speed or precision if one of them is at the moment nok.

With wine discard logic 🤣
