DM860H driver questions

DM860H driver questions

Currently wiring up the centroid acorn and I’m at the Inputs section, Spindle ok= VFD? Drive ok= my drivers??? How do i connect these please

I assume you wired those drives to the DB25 as they are 5v drives. From your link the drives don't appear to have an alarm output so you wont need a "drive ok" input on Acorn. Spindle OK is a input on Acorn that uses the fault signal from your VFD. There's a diagram for wiring a generic VFD to Acorn.

Yes straight into the db25, so I can just use the fault from the relay as per this post? https://centroidcncforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=60&t=8854

Those are open loop drives, so there is no alarm circuit available. Also, leave the enable disconnected.

Each VFD is different and you haven't told us what VFD you have or shared a link to the manual. We need a lot more info to be able to help you.

curious i have similar drivers why do we leave the enable disconnected?

They are enabled by default. If the motor locks when you power up the drive it's enabled.
