Re: Starting CNC without Last program Run Default
Thanks for taking the time to do that Keith. I said to myself that I was done with this for today, but like a dog with a bone..... I found that if you open Windows File Explorer and go to 'View/Options/Change folder and search options' and check 'Show frequently used folders in Quick access' a...

Re: Starting CNC without Last program Run Default
As shown, it is pinned to the QA. That's not the issue or the desired action. Example... A job that may have several ops and it happens to be in the my parts\Zxxxx folder. Every time you have to go back to that folder for the next op, you have to back out of the default location or QA to the desired...

Re: Starting CNC without Last program Run Default
Remote Drive & Directory This field sets up the remapped default drive and directory for the F3 - Remote key in the Load Job screen. This allows you to conveniently load files from an attached computer via LAN network (via RJ-45Ethernet connection). The Control will usually remap the attached c...

Re: Starting CNC without Last program Run Default
Sorry, should really have started a different thread to not get my question confused with the thread title. Was looking at the options in the post by cncsnw. http://centroidcncforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=60&t=2057&start=10#p14309 Setting the remote directory does nothing for the "F2 Load&...

Re: Starting CNC without Last program Run Default
Visiting this issue as well. Is there way to have the open file dialog default to your chosen folder instead of the cncm\ncfiles each time? I have always had a "My Parts" within the "My Documents" folder with all the sub folders within. It gets quite tedious when every time a new...

Re: Part file logs
Just a note on this...If you happen to repeat a file over and over, say for a production run of multiple parts and don't want the log file to be appended each time, edit the file or make a custom pp that will repeat with a cycle start and return to a specific point in the file. Here's how I do it......

Re: Part file logs
The way I'm using it here, if the file doesn't exist, it is created in the same location that the cut file is in. My file structure is a main folder with sub folders for customers or specific products. So, design files, cut files, and logs for each customer or product are all in the same place. Yes,...

Part file logs
Here's one of those things I like to call "Centroid G-Nuggets", a G-code nugget that not all systems might have or that do an operation that in my previous controls took a paragraph worth of letters and ","s to do. :P With my previous controls, I could output log files that basic...

Re: Beginner - Inputs dont seem to be working
Do you have the +24VDC connected to the inputs as shown in the schematics? I missed that when I was bench testing and, same as you, nothing worked.
