Marty,
Did you change the macro? I'm about to start sorting out dust collection integration myself.
Thank you!

Re: Converting CNC Router from XHC Mach3 Motion Controller
Right on! thanks for posting the update, post more photos, we'd all like to see your progress. Fyi tool touch off setup is going to become even easier as we have added the tool touch off setup into the wizard for the upcoming release. Thanks for the encouragement! I was beginning to wonder if I was...

Re: Converting CNC Router from XHC Mach3 Motion Controller
Once I got everything mounted I started bringing things up one at a time. I used the Leadshine schematic and configuration in the wizard because my Yako drives needed the same 5vdc for step and direction. First I got the spindle output and analog signal working. Then got the axis moving one at a tim...

Re: Converting CNC Router from XHC Mach3 Motion Controller
Acorn arrived. Everything is mounted to the backplate.
Turns out the included power supply has a 2.2A 5 volt rail in addition to the 1A 24 volt.

Re: Setting Frequency/Speed in Automation Direct GS3 VFD
Frequency = speed * number of poles / 120
=> 60hz = 1720 * p / 120
=> p ~= 4
=> f = 635 * 4 / 120 => 635 rpm = 21.2 hz
=> 60hz = 1720 * p / 120

=> f = 635 * 4 / 120 => 635 rpm = 21.2 hz

Re: Is 4gb RAM enough?
Of course! I believe I read everything I could find.
Thought I’d ask before I mount the control pc to the wall.
I do design on another machine. This machine will only be running my control.
Thank you!

Re: Programming Xkeys pad
I watched the video and downloaded the zip file. I'm not following how to program the Xkeys pad. Are there directions somewhere? I fixed the filepath issue for the images in both .lgd files. Not sure which to load, program, etc.

Re: Is 4gb RAM enough?
I'm converting a 5' x 8' CNC router with one 6hp air cooled spindle. Just wondering if I should order 4 or 8GB of RAM while I have it all on the bench.

Is 4gb RAM enough?
As the subject says. I’m putting my first Acorn conversion together and want to make sure 4gb is enough.
Thank you in advance!
