When I tried using the post position it moved in X to X0, which can easily crash. Need to only move in Z. Is there a way to have it only move Z?
Also any idea why it’s moving in Z+ during the turning move I described in my first post?

Re: Acorn Lathe Intercon help needed
Can someone give me an example or an approach of how to make the Z+ moves, then X moves to avoid a tool -> work piece collision on a gang tool lathe? The Rapid move in intercon moves X and Z at the same time. I’m thinking it best to move straight in Z+ to a safe Z with little or no X movement. I’ve ...

Acorn Lathe Intercon help needed
Hello. I have a gang tool lathe (link to build thread is in my signature). I've attached a fresh report and the intercon file in question. I'm trying to sort out how to manage moving the gang tooling around between operations, so I don't crash a tool. T0101 is my longest tool. I'm wanting to have it...

Re: Built in probing VS probe app
I have a small fortune in mid range probes.. two Hallmark ITTP (one with wireless conversion), and a Centroid TT4 on the lathe. I wouldn't be without probing!

Re: Strange Windows error message
I'm not being spicy on this. I'm simply stating I too have seen this error message pop up. I'm using the same intel NUC sold on your web page. It's a fresh install. I'm not even bothered by this error. Just letting the OP know it pops up on my lathe like he is seeing.

Re: Strange Windows error message

I don't have a spare PC on hand to experiment with. I'm also not the only one reporting thes...

Re: Poor mans DNC without network
I have a G_Code folder for each of my CNC machines in Dropbox. When I post the code on the CAM computer the posts are setup to save to that folder. Then I walk to the machine and it’s there, local and ready to run.
