Re: Can I change jogging behavior in VCP?
It is strange. I used the wizard just like you said. When I power cycle the acorn board the wizard shows fast/continuous, however the VCP is in slow jog mode. Parameter 856 went to 3 not 1. The funny thing is that I have always wondered why I could not get this to change. All the way back since 4.62...

Re: Can I change jogging behavior in VCP?
Interestingly, I set par 856 to 1, saved it, same thing. It starts up slow continuous.

Re: Can I change jogging behavior in VCP?
If this is a router you need some gear reduction on X and Y. Ok, I set it in the wizard but it seems that it never was writing that setting to par 856. As for the gear reduction. I have known about that for a while now. That is in the works for an upgrade. Some planetary boxes and changing to helic...

Re: Can I change jogging behavior in VCP?
I have mine set to fast and continuous in the wizard, however it always powers up in the slow jog mode.

Re: CNC 12 5.02 ATC questions
bill, i'll send you the latest Release candidate so you can test with it. no on using restore report. this will overwrite parameter settings and since the software has new features it would break them. restore report only works within the same version. for instance v4.82 report works with v4.82 v5....

Re: CNC 12 5.02 ATC questions
Ok, thank Keith, that is probably what happened since after I edited them I probably wrote settings for something else in the wizard. Makes sense.
So is 5.04 a release candidate or new release. I did not see a link for it yet that I noticed. Also can I use restore report for 5.04?

Re: CNC 12 5.02 ATC questions
They are not straight up. I am using a 2:1 belt reduction on the y axis and a 3.2:1 belt reduction on the x axis, this is what I had setup coming from mach3, but I know it should be higher. That is of course why the rev/in is different on the x axis as opposed to the y. I would like to eventually el...
