Joey, Thanks for the help. And patience.
I Will redo the Torch calibration,
To confirm from the posts,I can gather from your replies and help that the Plots look good, and the grounding issues are fixed and I'm good to do further cutting without damage?
Thanks again, it is appreciated.

Re: Torch Height and Amperage
The THC was reading voltage so Technically it has been working the Whole time. The Ground loop and Interference was just so bad all the way through from the First Plot capture that the THC is un usable and at risk of being Damaged.
Do not fire the Torch yet. Just a reminder that we need to see ...

Re: Torch Height and Amperage
I Ran a test cut, I did see the z axis move also i ran some dry runs and have a fresh report attached how does it look? this time after adding yet more ground (this is a unique table it has 3d printed parts so each axis is isolated by plastic parts and the entire gantry moves as the z axis, with 2 ...

Re: Torch Height and Amperage
So I have cleaned up my grounds, added more grounds per hypertherm tech, Shielded wiring from THC to hypertherm IO cable, removed any wires running next to THC,
I have not driven a ground rod separate for the machine, ( im not against it Id like to just see the THC work before taking on that ...

Re: Torch Height and Amperage
I have double checked the CPC to the THC I am 99% sure it is correct. (1% unsure because its not working)
Attached is photos of the cabinet, Its a doozy,
after reviewing the schematics I see that I am missing a wire from the ground to the common on the main power supply that powers the acorn board ...

Re: Torch Height and Amperage
Joey,
I did another THC bench test again just to double check the THC and it performed fine.
Can this be a grounding issue with the table and unit? Or a lack there of.
I have read the hypertherm bulletin on grounding. And have work to do.

Torch Height and Amperage
Hello,
I am having issues with my Torch height while cutting.
If I put a large sheet of steel in with differences in height from the shearing or having some waves from storage maybe +- .125 of an inch. the torch is scraping or running into the material. it does not change the z height as it cuts ...
