Yes I am using the on off buttons for manual spindle control. The way I have it set up it is coming from the 0-10 volt terminals on the acorn board to the 0-10 volt terminals on the VFD.

Ok If I force out 2 with out 4 then it orients the spindle. What provision do I need to put in place to make it work with out forcing out 4. When I do the M 19 it does not turn on out 2. What might be causing that.

The acorn board only has 1 db9 port. How does the encoder get wired to the db9 for acorn and also to the Emc-PG01L board?

Would that be enough to get rpm’s. Could that be wired to a db9 and plugged into Acorn and get Rpm’s . just wondering . I am working on putting a encoder on it.
