I just purchased the KP-3 probe and got it set up on my machine. When I go to set Z0 for my part the probe touches, retracts, then touches again, and stays on the part. Is this normal? I try to use tool check to retract the tool but it does not work and it states it is because the probe is tripped ...

I just wanted to follow up to see if there are any ideas on how I can have the option to use either the WNPG or the VCP

Thank you for looking into it, I appreciate the help. I would have thought I could enable and disable the WNPG using the MPG button on the VCP or switch from one to the other. Is not not possible to have functionality of both the VCP and WMP

I have been using the WNPG for moving the axis of my machine around and and setting up parts. This passed weekend I decided I wanted to use the VCP and I found that I could not change the increment distance on the VCP, it would stay on what ever the WNPG was last set to even if the WNPG knob was ...

I have the wnpg and noticed that when i turn the dial to off on the mpg I cannot change the increments in the vcp and use it like I did before I purchased the wmpg. is there a parameter I need to change or is this how it is?

I just started using solidcam and everything has been working great so far until i went to drill a hole pattern. The machine goes to the correct XY location for the first hole but then does nothing then rapids to the second hole and does everything perfect, Not sure if this is a parameter setting ...

The problem that I am having could be related to a CAM issue (Soildworks CAM standard) but thought I would ask the question since I had a hole pattern related problem in the past. Sure enough when I went to the alt-i Display, mem243 turned green when I pressed the =0 button and zeroed the y-axis on the dro since y was selected on the pendant. I had been trying to use =0 during part set up. Once I had my edge finder in position I was hitting the button but nothing was ...

I recently set up a WNPG-6 and updated to the latest version of CNC12. Everything seems to be working correctly except for the =0 (set zero) button on the pendant. Not sure what might be wrong, hopefully someone has some advice. Attached is my report.
