Wow, quite the setup!
All tested with your software and Acorn?


Yup! :D Joytokey worked great with it. It's powered through usb as well, so no need for an external power source, and if you wanted to, all the buttons, and the joysticks are micro switches, so I'm sure someone with more knowledge ...

Here's what I ended up doing with the kit I mentioned in a previous post. Eventually, I'll paint and engrave everything, but for the time being, I'm happy with it. I pretty much have all the functions in need. Hopefully others will find this useful.

Well, its nice to be an Amazon prime member. The USB game pads I ordered showed today instead of tomorrow. And as CHEESEY as I think this is, it does seem to work! :shock:

That would be great! I have one of these from when I was using Mach3. I personally liked it.

That really is good, excellent infact, because I think if i'm not wrong it means you can use an xbox or playstation contrller (which have 2 joysticks and lots of buttons) for free. Is that right???

Looks great for a lathe, because there are only 2 axis.
BUT how about for a mill? 3 axis.
Likely have to use two joy sticks...
Still a cool alternative. The asumption is that it would work with any USB joystick?

I got this one for $50 on Amazon, but you can get some as cheap as around $30 on Amazon. I didn't really do any shopping around, so there could be some cheaper ones, or some diy ones that you can have as many buttons as you'd like :D Just make sure you get one that is compatible with pc.
