Re: Centroid CNC Software Licensing Upgrade Announcement

Buy it once, use it as long as you like. Spend a few $$ if/when you want the new version.
nice way to quickly get the point across.

if we decide to not allow the skipping version for same price aspect of the License model. then i would be inclined to lower the price.

Re: Centroid CNC Software Licensing Upgrade Announcement

Keith, many years ago before Acorn was released we talked on the phone. At that time I told you support was going to be your biggest headache. ;)

As a business person I think you are making a mistake not charging a cumulative upgrade fee. This inhibits your cash flow substantially. You model as ...

Re: how to program in Intercon

I just watched Keith's video on mill training again. I think I see what I would need to do. If I am not using cutter compensation do I still have to have a straight line before an arc?

how to program in Intercon

The material is 60x60x3mm rectangular tubing. I needed to cut the pictured radius and straight on each side of the tube.

I didn't have a long enough endmill to do it in one setup so I had to flip the material to do the bottom side. I tried to use the arc canned cycle to make the radius but it kept ...

Re: WIP 6 Axis Tool Grinding

Yes maybe the G-code is basic stuff but the whole picture is not basic. Lots of different parts that all have to come together to get to the "basic stuff". Designng and building the 4th,5th,6th axis ain't no easy basic stuff. Maybe for you but not for me. Programming the 6 axis machine is way above ...
