Re: Acorn wireless MPG
When I first connected my MPG to my system I had the same exact symptoms you described. The issues were resolved by re-booting the pc anc cnc12 with the wireless receiver disconnected. Then I re-booted it again with the receiver connected and the MPG on before I turned on the system. I haven't had a...

Re: Need a little Macro Help.....
Wow! Thank you very much for that. I'll copy that to my cncm directory and report back. I really appreciate the detailed description. I plan to take a look at the plc file and cross reference what you did to the content of the file. Hopefully that will give me an idea of what going on and help get m...

Re: Z Crawling?
Just thinking out loud and kind of randomly........ If I understand this correctly, the z axis servo is moving on it's own and the dro on the acorn isn't. I would imagine that the clearpath servo would fault if there was a position error between the encoder and the commanded position of the drive......

Need a little Macro Help.....
Hello Centrodians! I seem to be having a little problem creating a custom macro. I've read the macro quick start guide and can't seem to come up with a solution to what I am doing wrong. Being a macro newbie there is probably something I am looking right over... Anyway, my mill uses the index...

Re: Gecko 320 Servodrive ERR/RES hardware solution
I just took a look at your G320x schematic and maybe I am having a hard time wrapping my head around how this works. If I am correct. You are using ACORN RL1 on the acorn board to provide +5vdc to the (3) G320x drives for 5 seconds to reset the drives out of their initial fault. -----When the drives...

Re: Initial System- Gecko G251-4 and Acorn
It's hard to tell from the pictures. when I try and make them bigger they get really blurry but,
The CandCnc board probably incorporates a buffer circuit for the signals from the computers parallel port to the drives.

Re: Initial System- Gecko G251-4 and Acorn
I'll take a WAG. It looks like that is a breakout board/mother board for dealing with parallel port signals from a pc. The drives on the board look similar to the gecko G251x. Looking at Gecko products it appears that the header connections for the different drives follow the same pattern regarding ...
