Yes, you would replace your manual forward/reverse switch with an output relay programmed SpinFwd and SpinRev

Re: PM-833TV Spindle Speed Control
Factorymation.com TD series. Do you want spindle braking or can you live with coasting. They start at $200 for a 2hp single phase input TD200. TD200 can not do braking, TD400 can for about another $90 plus the cost of a brake. You can always adjust your own spindle speed until you decide what you wa...

Re: PM-833TV Spindle Speed Control
That should work with a signal insulator, but I would replace the weak 2hp motor with a 2.6kw servo, JMC and Lichuan is working well. Easy to wire and lots more low end torque, or depending on the reduction rate of the belt drive same torque and more rpm. Uwe Hi Uwe, Can you post links to the sugge...

Re: PM-833TV Spindle Speed Control
I have no idea why they would use such an odd VFD requiring 0-12VDC (cheap to manufacture) I personally would replace it with a standard VFD Otherwise, you could contact CNC4PC and Discuss using their C89 board. https://cnc4pc.com/c89-10vdc-analog-speed-control-board.html You don't state what the HP...

Re: Motors not turning
I have the same (rather similar) setup with the PMDX-134. I'm running Gecko 201X drivers and I'm still wiring everything up... Would love to see your progress mousecnc... I'm still configuring and snaking wires all over the place. -DigitalMechanic First, you responded to a very old post. Switch ove...

Re: Stepperonline CL86T/CL57T with Acorn
Reading all of the above posts I feel comfortable with my intent on using the "Z" axis CL86T stepper servo wired as the Acorn schematic using the DB25 BoB as drawn. Then, wiring the 2 - CL57T stepper servos for my x & y drives as the schematic is drawn using the H2 header on the Acorn...

Re: Hard milling on diy mill with Centroid oak
Nice work. Would love to see the control cabinet, console and some info about the machine. Perhaps some overall pictures of the machine.

Re: New Project!
Slow going but got proximity switches on all axes, X and Y home out correctly, but Z is homing out in the Z- direction, is there a way to Invert it? The axis otherwise is moving correctly. When you jog Z in the negative direction, is it moving in the negative direction? Please ALWAYS post a fresh r...
