Re: Receiving PLC error messages on new installation
When I loaded the new software it asked if I wanted to install a PLC program. I selected the above program out of the tree that the install program provides.
Should I install the missing file and just see what happens or is there a way to know if there's anything else that I missing?
Thank you ...

Receiving PLC error messages on new installation
I previously had my Hurco MD1 running on CNC 11 without the tool changer working. After a few starts and stops on getting the tool changer working I'm serious about it now.
I rewired my machine to bring it up to match the current drawing S14817 dated 170125 Rev 3.

Re: Need help re configuring PLC outputs
Thanks for the information Mario,
I would like to have my machine be as standard as possible. It appears that the only wiring differences between the drawing that you sent me and my original is on the add16 IO board. If I rewire that to match the new drawing and then replace the files on my machine ...

Need help re configuring PLC outputs
I have wired my three axis Hurco mill to the M 400S M39S wiring diagram dated 121010. I changed the version 6 all-in-one DC PLC program to match the outputs for my PLCADD16. Everything seemed to go fine when I modified the PLC program and recompiled. The problem that I'm having is that when I ...

Re: Trouble with All In One DC tool changer program <answered>
Thanks for the advice. I must've typed the same thing in incorrectly 5 times.
Unfortunately after doing that I'm still having the same problem. It seems like the problem has something to do with M codes. For example the F keys will make my tool carousel spin properly but the associated M codes don ...

Re: Hurco KM3
In my humble opinion LynuxCNC Would be fun if Your hobby is retrofitting a milling machine. If you're more interested in making parts reliably I would definitely go with the all-in-one DC board and install new encoders. You can keep your transformers he stop buttons and motor wiring. That way you ...

Trouble with All In One DC tool changer program <answered>
I need the help of someone at least 30% smarter than I am.

Re: encoder suitability
I think it would be more cost-effective to install a timing pulley on your large spindle. Mount your encoder on the bracket and install the same diameter pully as encoder shaft size connected with a small timing belt.
Look up posts about lathe encoders.

Re: encoder suitability
I have installed many of the Automation Direct encoders. I have never had a single problem with one and you know what you're getting. Also come with phenomenally nice cables at a reasonable price.
