Re: Emco PCTurn 120 Spindle wiring help
It seems like that is more complicated than necessary. Just run you motor winding thermostat through an input and assign it to spindle fault. When CNC12 receives a spindle fault it will disable the spindle.

Re: How to sell a pro license with the acorn and machine
Just include the license file along with the Acorn. Hardcopy and digital would be best.

Re: Finally did a fresh install and WPMG still not being recognized by windows
Nope. For the most part, they are all compatible electrically. USB3 operates at a higher frequency that can interfere with some of the common wireless frequencies. If it worked for a while, my guess is a Windows update "fixed" the device driver for you at some point. You might try going in...

Re: Finally did a fresh install and WPMG still not being recognized by windows
Blue ones are USB3. It should work as they are backward compatible but if you have black USB2 ports, that would be better.
USB3 signals are known to interfere with wireless devices like mice dongles and Bluetooth adapters. Try to move the WMPG base as far from USB3 ports as possible.

Use device manager to delete the device and its drivers. Then rescan for new devices, and allow it to reinstall the drivers.

Re: Software Limits Issue
That is exactly how soft limits work. They are based on machine coordinates and not work coordinates. If they are not working like that, then they are probably configured incorrectly. If you'd post a report file, we could see how they limits are configured. A video showing the behavior you think is ...

Re: Rigid Tapping Question
I would first verify that rigid tapping is working correctly by using Intercon. When all of the rigid tapping parameters are set correctly and verified with Intercon, then try it with F360.

Re: Linear Scale, cant set in CNC12
That is your spindle encoder. See section 15.2.2 in the mill manual. You should also check P35 since you are no longer using the encoder input for a spindle encoder.

Re: Linear Scale, cant set in CNC12
"Scales" is for position feedback and you need Ultimate for that. If you just want to display the output on a DRO, you need to set it up as a manual axis. I don't believe the Wizard can do this, but you can do it through Setup for the axis, and parameters to use the spindle encoder port fo...

Re: the custom crafter motor controller
Unfortunately, no details about the control on that page, but the "10 rpm increments" implies that it's some sort of digital interface. Acorn wouldn't be able to control that if so.
Hopefully if they sell one, they can then afford to buy a spell checker.
