Re: Acorn6 CNC12 faulting randomly???
I'm assuming you are using shielded power cable between the vfd and the spindle motor and that at least one end of the shield is properly grounded?

Re: Surge killed my Acorn?
Contact Centroid Support. I believe they have a $200 swap out program for Acorn. Send your old board in, and they will send,a new one with a new license.

Re: Reset my home
That means your home switches are not very repeatable. Do you have a tool changer or fixed probe that rely on machine coordinates? If not, no harm will come from hetting yes,and accepting the new home position.

Re: Profiles
FYI, the finish cut has nothing to do with it. The,face passes are included because I programmed a feedrate move from 12mm to -0.2mm diameter. Delete line,6 and they will go away. ChatGPT is worth exactly what you paid for it. If you remove the finish pass, the face cuts will remain since they are ...

Re: Understand existing Acorn Mill
I would not just assume you can remove a wire. Someone took the trouble to run that wire and attach it to an output for a reason. I would trace where the wire goes and determine its function. Most likely, the Acorn configuration is incomplete or incorrect.
