Morning..quick update
Thanks for the troubleshooting ideas,… I found a bad 5v feed connection to the other drives!!
Y axis ok, Z axis shows it’s moving on the screen but not getting the actual drive to turn? More checks…
Need to figure out pairing the y drives yet

Hi Joey,
I cannot run a touch off cycle!
Touch off goes through it's cycle to the point of going down & hitting the float limit and stays there!! no raising done at all!
I even went so far as changing input wiring to #3 instead of #2 and changed in the wizard inputs and no difference!
I unwired ...

Z axis ? I got Z axis to zero, then when I dry ran the program torch came down all the way and tripped the limit switch but did not raise the .155 that I had set up. Thus everything just errored out. Limits are working ok, they check out ok on the diagnostic screen….must be missing ...

Hi, still needing help!
User interface seems totally hit and miss if it does anything?!
Restart Acorn,CNC12 says to reset do that and all seems good. Try and move an axis and no go! Press grn cycle start and same thing.
Got the machine to home XYZ once. On one of many restarts dialog box popped ...

This is getting a bit concerning as I am unable to prove that the Acorn is actually outputting a signal to enable the y,z and the second y drives! This is a brand new drive, I tried various things before posting on the forum.
I would like verify that the the Acorn is functional, am also ...

I understand what you’re saying…. What I did previously was what you suggested doing , I unplugged step/ dir from X and plugged into the other drives and they worked.
The wiring is the same from X drive as the other drives> the db25 connection
Program/software settings I’m missing?

Got only one motor to work, would imagine enabling it, did it?...it didn't for the others though, I can't seem to see what i missed
